D-Stor,
Inc, a global leader of storage products and
solutions provider, announced today: the new
F-1200 are shipping. It is offering the latest
performance I/O with two 4-Gigabit Fibre Channel
host interface ports, Serial ATA (SATA) drive
interfaces, and designed in a slim 2U 19"
rack with 8 or 12 hard drive bays. The D-Stor
Array F-1200 uses a very high performance RAID
processor with low power consumption plus the
RAID level of JBOD, RAID 0, 1, 3, 5, 6, and
10, configurable.
The
D-Stor Array F-1200 was designed to be the most
advanced technology and concept of storage array
such as, all components are produced by RoHS
rules, inside parts including controller, chassis,
screws, cable, paster, ¡K all conform to RoHS
rules. The front LCD panel module is very strong
and thin, it is also hot pluggable so user can
directly repair the inside LCD panel of online
states. The new F-1200 RAID array supports very
big capacity of SATA II drives at 1TB and 1.2TB.
It's 2U fixed height but enough space was left
for the thicker high capacity HDD. All the 12
drive bays have the key lock. The key lock secures
the drive from stolen. However, the key lock
doesn't have the contact to any of the power
current. That means, the D-Stor Array F-1200
has an additional feature of key lock compared
with the other RAID arrays in the market. The
most importantly, as a very little part on the
earth though, D-Stor Array F-1200 saves a lot
of power by using more efficient power control
plus six sets of power circuit inside. The "Redundant
on Redundant" power system in the D-Stor Array
F-1200 is 85% or greater energy efficient at
20%, 50%, and 100% of rated load with a true
power factor of 0.9 or greater. The D-Stor Array
F-1200 also enables the "power save"
function on all hard drives inside. The auto
sensing multi-speed of cooling FAN saves the
power and lower down the noise which makes the
D-Stor Array F-1200 more reliable and stable
for the data intensive applications in the world.
The
product family of D-Stor Array F-1200 has four
items, S-800 (U320 SCSI-SATA II), F-800 (4Gb
FC-to-SATA II), S-1200 (U320-to-SATA II), and
the F-1200 (4Gb FC-to-SATA II). All is available
today. Distributors and OEM customers are welcome.
